these kisses shared
in the darkness of false solitude
bear witness to only forged desires
and know nothing of the longing in one's heart

all vows proclaimed
with apparent passion
in heated moments of lustful longing
lend to further justify the means of deceit

a kiss in love's name?
would it be without reason
to scream all that is undignified
with such a feable idea?

so do, my darling, kiss my unstable, ever quivering, lips
and do not, sugar, desist in continuing in these pretenses
for is it unfair to say, my sweet, that this sequence of dreams we're leading
is no more than broken fate?
